The Daily Run

So 2 months down, still on track to run 365 times this year. Or is it 366? It’s a leap year! Of all the years to try and run every day, I had to pick the hardest one. Naturally.

60 days of non stop running. Definitely some highs and lows in there. But here are the figures for February.

  • 173.8 total km (run and walk)
  • 44:28 average time out on the track
  • 5:99km on average daily
  • 7:25 minute / km average (but, this is always skewed due to the walking miles)
  • Longest run of the year so far: 12+km
  • Fastest 5k of the year: 25 minutes flat. however, it was beaten on march 1.
  • Average daily km has gone up from 5.69km to 5.99km
  • 52,448 KJ burned
  • 1,808 average daily KJ burned

Full year distance total

  • 355.88 km

It goes without saying, im extremely pleased with the 2 months totals. I honestly didnt think id make it through a month, let alone 2.

The end game still feels highly unlikely, but more likely than it did. If any of that makes sense.

March is already off to a good start, with a new fastest 5k on day 1. Plus! Some exciting new shoes arriving:

  • Adidas Adios Pro 3
  • New Balance Rebel V4

and most likely checking out the Saucony Endorphin Speed 4. Loved the 3, will the 4 be better?

So thats a February wrap 🙂
